About CrestaSeed

A stronger Liberia, and a model for the world

CrestaSeed started in Liberia with a simple bet: that agriculture, housing, and education work better together than apart.

Why we started

Liberia's land and its people are the real resource here. A community that can grow its own food, build its own homes, and pass down real skills doesn't need outside help to keep going. That's what we're building toward.

It's slow work. We're doing it acre by acre, and we expect that to take years, not months.

Rooted in Liberia, since day one

Vision and mission

V

A global model of sustainable and enduring success.

Our vision is bigger than one farm or one program; it's a working example of how agriculture, housing, and education can reinforce each other, anywhere.

M

Building resilient foundations through agriculture, housing, and education.

Every acre we cultivate, every home we build, and every person we help train is a foundational stone in that structure.

How the three pillars work together

Agriculture, housing, and education aren't three separate initiatives. They're one system.

1

Agriculture builds the base

Cash-crop and food-crop production creates income and food security, starting from the five acres already cultivated and scaling toward manufacturing.

2

Housing stabilizes the community

Safe, stable homes keep families rooted near the land and the work, turning seasonal labor into a lasting community.

3

Education carries it forward

Knowledge and skills, agricultural and otherwise, mean the next generation can run and grow what this one builds.

Questions people ask

Where is CrestaSeed located?

In Liberia, West Africa. Our agricultural land is the starting point for the housing and education work as well.

What crops are you growing right now?

Nine in our development portfolio: rice, cassava, banana, plantain, cashews, maize, rubber, cocoa, and oil palm. Not all are planted yet.

How much land is under cultivation?

Five acres cultivated and prepared in Bong County, with plans for responsible expansion.

How do housing and education fit in if this started as a farm?

Agriculture funds the work. Housing keeps the people doing that work rooted nearby instead of moving on. Education makes sure the skills behind both don't stop with the first generation.

How can I get involved or partner with CrestaSeed?

Reach out through the contact page. We're interested in partners for agriculture, housing, or education specifically, or in the project as a whole.
